Fragment 001 — The Ritual

Deep in the empty void. A subtle beam illuminates a single point in an otherwise ocean of darkness, shining light down onto a floating altar, where he lies. Around him, five hooded figures loom, chanting words foreign to him. The figures circle him as he lays there, still and unaware. His white hair, consumed with filth and sprawled in a knotted mess.

As the robed figures continue with their ritual. His naked body levitates from the altar. One figure, clothed in gold, steps forward. With purpose he speaks the words they’ve all been chanting.
